Brand new 1/24 scale plastic model kit of the Ford Escort RS 1800 Mk.II #5 Rallye Monte Carlo (1979) by Italeri. This Skill 2 kit includes real rubber tires, colorful decal artwork, color instructions sheet, and vintage-style packaging. Officially licensed product. Parts are molded in color unless otherwise indicated. Paint and cement are required but not included. Manufacturer’s original unopened packaging. Assembled dimensions are approximately 7 inches long. The Ford Escort Mk 2 was launched in 1975 and the RS 1800 was developed for World Rally Championship competition. This kit represents the car driven by Waldegård/Thorszelius, who finished second in the 1979 Monte Carlo Rally.
