HISTORY ASPECTS: The Vosper Motor Torpedo Boat (M.T.B.) was a fast and agile vessel designed by Vosper & Company in Britain to engage enemy shipping and conduct coastal raids. With a sleek wooden hull and powerful petrol engines, these boats could reach impressive speeds while remaining highly maneuverable, making them ideal for hit-and-run tactics. Armed with torpedoes, depth charges, and light anti-aircraft guns, the Vosper M.T.B. combined offensive punch with the ability to evade larger, slower adversaries. During World War II, Vosper M.T.B.s were heavily
